The surcharge applies for all new bookings from Monday 30/3/26 with travel from Tuesday 1/4/2026. The surcharge is to be paid at check-in on the day of travel. The price of the surcharge will be monitored and reviewed regularly in accordance with fuel price fluctuations. Existing bookings for travel in the month of April will be honoured and no fuel surcharge will be payable.

Lady Elliot Island

The levy will be payable in accordance with standard booking payment terms and will be commissionable. Surcharge is added on top of the total RRP. This surcharge will apply to all new bookings placed from Wednesday, 1 April 2026 for both overnight and day guests. Lady Elliot Island reserves the right to review and adjust the levy in line with further changes in global fuel prices.

This levy will apply to all new bookings for travel from 1 April 2026 onward and will remain in place until fuel prices stabilise and operating costs return to more sustainable levels. Customers need to pay pre arrival.

In response to rising operational expenses, a fuel levy of $20.00 per person per day has been introduced across all tours. This levy applies to all new bookings made from Tuesday, 7 April 2026 and will be charged in the same manner as QPWS and ferry fees, payable on the day of departure.

Effective for travel from 07 April 2026 for South Sea Cruises & South Sea Cats Customers travelling with South Sea Cruises & South Sea Cats from Port Denarau will be asked to pay the applicable fuel surcharge for all future sectors prior to travel either online prior to departure or at check-in prior to the boarding pass(es) being issued. Customers who are only travelling with South Sea Cruises & South Sea Cats on an inbound sector from their island resort will be asked to pay the fuel surcharge either online prior to departure or upon boarding our vessels and before they return to Port Denarau. Payment is available via international debit or credit card, noting that international cards do attract a 2.5% - 3% admin fee.
