Loading non-live products
Updated over a week ago

Hero offers suppliers 4 ways to load non-live products. With each method, suppliers receive a booking confirmation email once the agent finalises their booking.

Standard

Agents must confirm availability and book with you by phone / email etc. Agents provide customer details and their Hero Quote Number. You supply your booking confirmation number. The agent enters this number into Hero in order to complete the booking.

Allocation

When adding your product schedules to Hero you set an allocation of seats that can be sold without the requirement for agents to confirm availability. Once this allocation is expended, no more bookings can be made for that time slot.

Freesale

Products with unlimited availability can be set as Freesale. Agents can book without the need to check availability.

On Request

Products set as On Request operate similarly to standard non-live products, except the email / SMS communication process is managed via Hero.

  1. Agent adds product to Quote

  2. Agent adds PAX info

  3. Agent clicks a button to send a booking request to you

  4. You receive an email (or SMS if configured) with booking details and click to respond:

    1. Accept and supply your Booking Reference Number

    2. Deny and supply a reason, i.e. (We're sold out Thursday, 5 seats available on Friday).

  5. The agent's Quote is updated with your response

  6. The agent Finalises their booking.
