If you're an accommodation supplier using Cloudbeds, please note that Hero cannot cancel and remove inventory from your manifest via API in realtime.
As a restriction of Cloudbeds, via API we can only notify Cloudbeds of a 'change' and not notify of a 'cancellation'.
This is actioned by Hero immediately once an agent has cancelled via the Customer-initiated or Agent-initiated method.
In response, Cloudbeds calls Hero's database via our API connection to query what the chnage is, i.e. cancelled nights. In which case, Cloudbeds will then update your manifest.
We have been advised that this final step is not fulfilled by Cloudbeds immediately and a delay may occur.
