Some products on Hero are set with 'dynamic pricing'. We use this term to define a product with a variable retail rate, which requires the Agent to contact the Supplier to get a price for the booking.
This is commonly used for Campervan rentals, where Suppliers may adjust the standard rate payable in order to beat competitive quotes, and give you the best deal!
Once a price has been supplied by the Supplier, simply adjust the retail rate accordingly.
Note - Overseas Products:
If adjusting a dynamic RRP for a product priced in a foreign currency, be sure to update the Supplier's currency rather than your own. For example, if you're given a dynamic rate by a campervan supplier in New Zealand, update the RRP (NZD) field, which will automatically update the price to be paid by your PAX in your local currency.
Note - Non-commissionable items:
In the case of campervans and car hire, if any non-commissionable items are included in the order, i.e insurance levies, simply advise the customer (and within the voucher Customer Notes) that this amount must be paid upon collection of the vehicle.
