Within Hero, Suppliers can provide individual agents (or Groups of agents) with access to unique products, pricing and product inventory.
For example, an activity provider may wish to offer a reserved allotment of tickets for a tour operator who visits on a regular, recurring basis with large groups.
Or an activity provider may wish to provide a preferred reseller with a unique retail rate for certain dates.
Here's how it done:
Live Availability & rates via your Reservation System
Within your reservations system, create a new product and load the number of seats / tickets and unique pricing required for the reseller.
Advise Hero, and our team will set up the product and limit its visibility to only the agents you define in your Agent Groups.
The reseller will place bookings and you can monitor sales / manage inventory / pricing within your reservation system.
Live Availability & non-live rates
Available to suppliers Ibis & Respax
Hero can create a copy of your standard live product specifically for the reseller.
The product is linked to live inventory but pricing is set manually, either a fixed rate (such as $199) or variable adjustment (such as -$20) from live rate.
Suppliers can identify these as discounted bookings via the booking confirmation email sent by Hero to the Supplier, plus the Upcoming Bookings report in Hero.
Non-Live via Allocation or Freesale
Create a unique product for the reseller in Hero. When setting the schedule, you can choose to set an Allotment or allow Freesale.
Using Allocation, agents can sell your product without the need to confirm availability until the allotment is exceeded, at which point no further sales can be made - unless you choose to raise the allocation limit.
โUsing Freesale, agents can sell an unlimited number of tickets.
With each booking, you will receive an email to confirm PAX details and you can view a record of all upcoming bookings within your Hero Reports (Upcoming Bookings and Manifest).
You can adjust your allocation level at any time.
Payments, No Shows & Cancellations
With Hero, bookings can only be processed once full payment is received from the customer. This means, should you experience a no-show, Hero will still pay you as part of our standard weekly payment flow.
If cancellations are made by an agent, they are subject to your cancellation policy and you will receive any cancellation fees due.
