Does your Agency share commission with staff or third parties?

Important: This is a new feature of Hero with a degree of complexity. We recommend that you message Hero's support team and ask for their assistance in setting up your Beneficiaries.

Hero's Commission Split feature allows your Branch commission to be 'split' and automatically paid out to individual Beneficiaries, rather than paid in full to your Agency.

This is ideal if you wish to reward your staff with a share of all commission they generate, or if you have a commission share arrangement with a referring partner or third party.

You simply set the rules and Hero takes care of reporting, remittance and payments.

Set your Branch Commission Split Rules

Commission split rules are set at a Branch-level, and apply to all bookings processed within that Branch.

Switch to your Company and from the Company Admin menu item (shown above) select Branches. Choose the relevant Branch and open the Beneficiaries tab.

Set your Branch commission split rules using percentages, i.e:

  • 25% to your Branch (via its usual bank account)

  • 75% to the Owner of the booking (i.e. Team Member who created the Quote or the affiliate assigned as a Quote Owner via a Promo Code)

Adding Beneficiaries

Next, a Beneficiary must be added to your Branch within My Team.

For data security reasons for Beneficiaries who are external to your organisation (i.e. affiliates / influencers) create a unique Branch for them and add them as a Team member within their own Branch.

  1. Switch to the relevant Branch of your Agency, and navigate to Reports & Admin > My Team.

  2. Add a Team Member using First Name, Last Name & Email.

  3. Choose a User Access Level.

    1. Full access to Sales, Reports & Commissions (For your Team)

    2. Restricted to Reports (For third parties such as affiliates)

  4. Once you have add the Team Member, thye will receive an email and be invited to set a password and login to Hero. Once in, they are required to switch to Reports &v Admin > My Team and add Bank Account Details to their profile.

Available to Branches exclusively using Hero Payments
