Hero's Global Whitelist feature allows agents to hand-pick the products / suppliers visible within Hero, 'blacklisting' those that are not required and 'whitelisting' those that are.
Setup Global Whitelist
Firstly, if you want the exact same list of produts for all of your branches - then simply use the Global Whitelist in the menu when you are in your company level.
If you want different suppliers/products visible dependend on the branch that you are in, then follow the next steps:
Switch to your agency's Company and click Branches in the Company Menu.
Select the first branch to open its settings
Click 'Enable Global Whitelist' from the options shown below
Save Details for the Branch
Switch the this Branch to open your product Search Screen
From the drop-down menu top-tight, click Reports & Admin
From the Branch Menu left, click Global Whitelist > Products
Select the Supplier and Supplier's Branch that you wish to whitelist and click the top 'tick-box' to select all products.
Repeat for all Suppliers and Products.
Once all necessary suppliers / products have been selected for your first Branch, you can copy to all other Branches (This is completed as a separate step, so users at other branches will not be affected during the setup process).
Switch to your agency's Company and click Branches in the Company Menu.
Select all Branches and click 'Enable Global Whitelist' from the Branch options
Switch back to the original Branch with whitelist settings in place
From the Branch Menu left, click Global Whitelist > Products
Click 'Copy to All Branches' at the top-right
Settings will now be copied to all Branches with Whitelist settings activated
Note: Be careful not to click 'Copy to All Branches' from a Branch without whitelist settings in place, or an empty whitelist will be copied to all Branches.
