Hero Widget: Selling Packages
Updated over a week ago

Hero's widget is being developed to enable the sale of Packages, where components can be sold dated / open-dated / and with date-offs rules. In the meantime, here's how Packages can be sold via your website:

Getting set-up:

Using your Hero Supplier account, setup 2 x Package products, i.e:

  • East Coast Package (Full Payment) @ $2500

  • East Coast Package (10% Deposit) @ $250

On your website, use the Hero Widget to display both of these options.

Using your Hero Agency account, within the Hero Portal, create a quote including all the components of the East Coast Package and save it as a Template

When the Deposit Payment product is sold, the process is:
โ€‹

  1. Open the Finalised Booking

  2. Cancel and Save Funds to PAX Wallet

  3. Clone PAX Only

  4. Add the product: East Coast Package (Full Payment)

  5. Apply Payment from PAX Wallet

  6. Send eQuote to the PAX

  7. Once Paid, follow the method from Full Payment below:

When the Full Payment product is sold, the process is:

  1. Open the Finalised Booking

  2. Cancel and Save Funds to PAX Wallet

  3. Clone PAX Only

  4. Add products from Template

  5. Set dates of products

  6. Apply Payment from PAX Wallet

  7. Markup the RRP with a fee, so the amount paid matches RRP

  8. Finalise

  9. Email Tickets

This way:

  • All payments made are recorded in the final order.

  • Your PAX never sees the eQuote with all individual products in it.
